Too Much
"My needs are a burden. I ask for too much, want too much, require too much care and attention."

How it sounds in your head: You see the exhaustion on their face when you need something again. You replay the conversation where they called you needy. You've started apologizing before asking for anything. You've learned to minimize what you actually need because admitting the fullness of it feels like too much weight for anyone to carry.

Philippians 4:19

"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

-- Philippians 4:19
The enemy says your needs are too much, that you're a burden. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Philippians 4:19—My God shall supply ALL your need according to HIS riches in glory. Not according to what others can handle. Not according to their patience levels. According to HIS RICHES. Your needs don't deplete Him—they give Him opportunity to reveal His abundance. IT IS WRITTEN in Matthew 7:11 that if you being imperfect know how to give good gifts, how much MORE does your Father delight to meet your needs.
Quick Truth: LIE: I'm too needy. TRUTH: God supplies ALL your need from HIS riches, not others' limits (Phil 4:19)

Enemy's lie combined with experiences of people who resented your needs and religious teaching that equates godliness with never needing anything from anyone.

Why this feels true:

People have literally told you you're high maintenance. You've felt the shift in relationships when you stopped pretending to need nothing. You've been made to feel guilty for having needs that others found inconvenient.

1 Kings 17:8-16
The Widow of Zarephath

This widow was down to her last meal, about to eat and die with her son. Elijah showed up and asked her to feed HIM first—an outrageous request. She honored it, and instantly her jar of oil and bin of flour never ran empty. Her obedience to give from lack triggered supernatural, never-ending supply.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that my needs are a burden. IT IS WRITTEN in Philippians 4:19 that my God shall supply ALL my need according to HIS riches in glory—not according to anyone's tolerance, but according to HIS ABUNDANCE. My needs don't deplete God; they delight Him. I am Abraham's seed, under the BARAK blessing, and IT IS WRITTEN that the Lord commands blessing on my storehouses. My Father runs toward me with everything I need before I even finish asking. I will not shrink my needs to fit others' capacity—I have access to HIS unlimited supply.

But God actually:

Your Father doesn't roll His eyes when you come with needs—He's been preparing provision before you even knew you'd need it. He doesn't see you as high maintenance; He sees you as His daughter whom He delights to lavish with everything His riches can supply.
