"My involvement in séances means I'll always be spiritually vulnerable to darkness."
How it sounds in your head: I participated in séances trying to contact my mother after she died. Now I feel like I have a target on my back spiritually. Will I always be more vulnerable to attack because of what I did?
"Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one."
-- Ephesians 6:16Enemy using grief-driven choices to create permanent spiritual identity as 'compromised' or 'weakened' believer.
She made those choices in deep grief, and the enemy uses her emotional vulnerability at that time to convince her she created permanent spiritual vulnerability. Teaching about 'open doors' makes her feel like she's always at greater risk than other believers.
Saul consulted a medium and conducted a séance to bring up Samuel—direct violation of God's law and occult involvement at the highest level. Yet when David heard of Saul's death, he mourned him, honored him, and there's no record of 'cleansing' the land or conducting deliverance—the incident was treated as sin, not as permanent spiritual contamination requiring ritual undoing.
I REFUSE the lie that séances made me permanently vulnerable to darkness. IT IS WRITTEN: Ephesians 6:16—the shield of faith quenches ALL the fiery darts of the wicked one. I am not weaker, not more vulnerable, not a special target. IT IS WRITTEN: 2 Thessalonians 3:3—'But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.' God GUARDS me. I am not exposed. I am Abraham's seed, protected by the BARAK blessing that covered even those who sinned grievously. I am NOT VULNERABLE. I am PROTECTED. I am STRONG in the Lord. I am FREE.
The Father isn't leaving you exposed because you tried to contact your mother—He understands grief and covers you completely. He's not watching you struggle with 'extra' attacks; He's guarding you as His beloved daughter, fully protected by His presence.
