"My illness makes me damaged goods—no one will want me."
How it sounds in your head: Who's going to date someone with a chronic condition? I come with medical baggage. I'm high-maintenance. I'm not the fun, carefree girl guys want. I'll be alone because I'm broken.
"You are all fair, my love, and there is no spot in you."

Dating already feels impossible for teens; adding medical complexity makes it feel hopeless. She sees couples doing active things she can't. She feels like a burden no one would choose.
She was the 'weak-eyed,' unwanted wife—Jacob loved Rachel, not her. She felt like damaged, second-choice goods. Yet God OPENED HER WOMB and made her mother of Judah—the Messianic line came through the 'unwanted' one.
I REFUSE the lie that illness makes me damaged goods. IT IS WRITTEN that I am ALL FAIR with NO SPOT—my value isn't in my health status but in Heaven's declaration. I am not high-maintenance; I am HIGH-VALUE. IT IS WRITTEN in Isaiah 43:4 that I am PRECIOUS and HONORED in His sight—not despite my condition, IN SPITE OF NOTHING. The BARAK blessing declares favor surrounds me like a shield—not when I'm 'fixed,' RIGHT NOW. I am not too much. I am not broken goods. I am the BELOVED, the CHOSEN, the one He SINGS over. Whole. Wanted. WORTHY.
The Father sees you afraid no one will choose you, and He's running toward you with the reality that HE ALREADY DID—when you were at your worst, rebellious and sick, He chose you. The party He's throwing celebrates you as His BRIDE, spotless and stunning, not because you earned it but because He SAYS SO.
