"My generation is outdated and irrelevant. Only Gen Z matters now."
How it sounds in your head: You're scrolling TikTok and everyone's making fun of millennials and older people. It feels like by the time you're 30, you'll be irrelevant. Like you only matter now while you're young and cute.
"And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions."
-- Joel 2:28Enemy lie fueled by youth-obsessed culture designed to make you fear aging and miss intergenerational blessing.
Social media algorithms favor youth. Everyone's obsessed with what Gen Z thinks and older people are literally mocked in memes. It feels like relevance has an expiration date.
Caleb was 85 years old when he said 'Give me this mountain' and drove out giants. While everyone else saw him as too old, God saw him as READY—his strength was the same at 85 as at 40, and he took the hardest territory in one campaign.
I REFUSE the lie that my generation will become irrelevant. IT IS WRITTEN that God pours His Spirit on all flesh—young AND old. I am not defined by algorithms or cultural trends. My value doesn't expire when I turn 30 or 40 or 80. IT IS WRITTEN that Caleb took his mountain at 85 and Anna prophesied at 84. The same anointing on me now will increase, not decrease. I am blessed coming in and going out at EVERY age because I'm under the BARAK covenant. My latter days will be greater than my former.
The Father isn't watching a countdown clock on your relevance. He's planning your 85-year-old victories right now, dreaming of what you'll do in every decade, running toward you with assignments that span your entire lifetime, not just your youth.
