"My family's financial struggles are probably my fault somehow."
How it sounds in your head: You wonder if you're too expensive to raise, if your needs are the reason money is tight, if you're a burden on the budget. Maybe if you didn't exist things would be easier for your parents. You feel guilt for just existing and costing money.
"Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward."
-- Psalm 127:3Source: Enemy assigning false guilt and orphan spirit making you feel like unwanted burden instead of blessed son.
You hear stress about bills and know you cost money for food, clothes, activities, and your young brain makes you the center of every problem. The enemy twists your empathy into false responsibility and shame.
A child born to a previously barren woman who'd been mocked and heartbroken for years—Hannah vowed him to God before he was born. Samuel's arrival didn't drain the family; his presence brought blessing. After Hannah gave Samuel to temple service, 'the Lord visited Hannah' and she had five MORE children—Samuel brought multiplication, not burden.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm a financial burden to my family. IT IS WRITTEN that children are a HERITAGE from the Lord and a REWARD—that's my identity. I don't drain blessing; I CARRY the BARAK blessing as Abraham's seed. Joseph brought blessing to every place he entered, and I bring Heaven's favor into my household. IT IS WRITTEN in Genesis 12:2 'You shall be a blessing'—that's a command and identity over me. My existence doesn't cause financial problems; my presence invites supernatural supply. I am blessed and I am a blessing to my family RIGHT NOW because I'm in covenant.
The Father doesn't see you as an expensive burden—He sees you as His beloved child, a walking blessing-carrier stamped with His image. Like Samuel whose birth brought multiplication instead of subtraction, your presence in your family is Heaven's invasion point for provision, not the reason for lack.
