"My existence is a net negative to everyone around me"
How it sounds in your head: I'm a black hole of energy. People are happier before they interact with me and drained after. I bring problems, not solutions. My presence darkens rooms instead of lighting them. Even my family would have an easier, lighter life without managing me.
"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden."
-- Matthew 5:14Curse of death and accusation, often demonic assignment targeting identity, amplified by depression or past words spoken over him in anger.
He can point to relationships that deteriorated after he entered them, situations that got worse when he tried to help, people who seem relieved when he leaves.
The demon-possessed man was so violent and destructive that he was chained in a graveyard, a danger to himself and everyone around him—the definition of net negative to society. Jesus spoke ONE WORD and instantly delivered him, then sent him home as a missionary—from graveyard to gospel preacher in one encounter.
I REFUSE the lie that my existence is a net negative. IT IS WRITTEN that I am the LIGHT of the world—not by my effort but by Christ IN me. My identity isn't determined by others' responses but by divine declaration. IT IS WRITTEN that the light shines in darkness and darkness CANNOT overcome it. The man in the graveyard was society's biggest problem and became its greatest preacher IN ONE MOMENT. I am not a drain; I am a CARRIER of the Kingdom. Every room I enter, I enter as LIGHT. The enemy fights my presence because I carry the One he fears. I am blessed and a BLESSING.
Jesus crossed a stormy sea specifically to reach one man everyone else had given up on, delivered him instantly, and turned him into a missionary. The Father doesn't see you as a project to tolerate—He crosses storms to reach you because you're WORTH IT.
