"My doubt is canceling out my prayers and keeping miracles away."
How it sounds in your head: I pray, then immediately wonder if anything will happen. That doubt must be ruining everything. Real faith would be certain, but I keep questioning—no wonder God isn't answering.
"Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, 'Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!'"
-- Mark 9:24Enemy twists honest questions into disqualifying doubt, making you believe God only responds to 100% certainty with zero human wondering.
You see confident younger believers declaring breakthroughs while you're cautiously hoping. Your brain naturally processes probabilities after decades of life experience—that feels like faith failure.
His son had been tormented since childhood, thrown into fire and water by a destructive spirit. The father admitted his doubt OUT LOUD—and Jesus IMMEDIATELY healed his son anyway.
I REFUSE the lie that my honest questions disqualify me from miracles. IT IS WRITTEN that the father who said 'I believe; help my unbelief' saw his son instantly freed—Jesus honored MIXED faith. My Father doesn't require perfect certainty; He responds to desperate reaching. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 8:26 that the Spirit helps my weaknesses, even when I don't know how to pray. I am righteous by gift, not by mental perfection. My prayers are heard because of Jesus' blood, not because of my confidence levels. The BARAK blessing is mine by covenant, regardless of my fluctuating feelings.
The Father sees your believing AND your unbelief—and responds to the believing part. Like the father in Mark 9, your mixed, messy faith is ENOUGH for Him to move mountains.
