"My disability means God loves me less than He loves whole people"
How it sounds in your head: You watch healthy women receive blessing after blessing—thriving families, growing ministries, answered prayers. Your prayers seem to hit a ceiling. The math feels obvious: God blesses those He loves most, and your disability is evidence you're not in that category. Maybe you're loved, but not AS loved.
"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
-- Romans 8:38-39Enemy + religion: God's love measured by circumstances; blessing tied to favoritism rather than covenant faithfulness.
Blessing seems to flow more freely to those without your complications. Their lives look easier, more favored, more loved. Your constant struggle feels like evidence of distance from God's heart.
Beggar covered in sores, so disabled he couldn't even keep dogs from licking his wounds—lived in total poverty while the rich man in fine clothes ignored him daily. At death, angels CARRIED HIM to Abraham's side—highest honor, greatest comfort. The rich, healthy man went to torment. Disability was NOT evidence of God's disfavor; it was the context in which His love prepared eternal glory.
I REFUSE the lie that my disability is evidence of less love. IT IS WRITTEN: NOTHING can separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus—not height, depth, disability, or any other created thing. I am loved with the SAME love the Father has for Jesus. My circumstances do not measure His affection; the CROSS does. The BARAK blessing flows through my life not because I'm whole but because I'm in COVENANT. IT IS WRITTEN: I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus—that righteousness is GIFT, not achievement. God's love for me is INFINITE, UNCHANGING, and UNAFFECTED by my body. I am His BELOVED daughter, precious and honored, disability and all. His love is not conditional; it's COVENANT.
The Father isn't loving you less because of your disability—He's holding you CLOSER, whispering, 'You are My beloved daughter in whom I am well pleased.' His love isn't measured by ease of circumstances but by the cross, where He gave EVERYTHING to prove you are worth EVERYTHING to Him.
