"My disability makes me less valuable and limits what God can do through me."
How it sounds in your head: You see the other girls dancing in PE while you sit on the sidelines. The youth group serves at the homeless shelter but you can't go because of accessibility. You watch everyone else live full lives while yours feels small and limited.
"So the LORD said to him, 'Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD?'"
-- Exodus 4:11Enemy twists physical limitation into identity limitation, making temporary bodies define eternal value.
Every building without a ramp, every activity you can't join, every pitying look reinforces that you're different in a bad way. Your body's limitations are visible and undeniable, making the lie feel like simple reality.
Crippled in both feet from age five, hiding in exile, expecting execution as Saul's grandson. David instantly restored him to eat at the king's table PERMANENTLY like a son, gave him all Saul's land, servants to work it - royalty status while still disabled.
I REFUSE the lie that my disability defines my value or limits God's purposes. IT IS WRITTEN that the LORD Himself makes the deaf, the mute, the blind - He doesn't make mistakes. My body's limitations don't limit God's power working through me. The BARAK blessing of Abraham flows through Christ in me - I am blessed coming in and going out, above only and not beneath, regardless of what my body can or cannot do. IT IS WRITTEN there is no condemnation for me in Christ Jesus - not for having a disability, not for needing help, not for being different. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, completely valuable, fully loved, powerfully positioned to display His strength in my weakness.
The Father isn't waiting for your body to work right to use you powerfully - He's running toward you RIGHT NOW with assignments designed specifically for you as you are. Like Mephibosheth crippled at the king's table, you're invited to royalty and purpose without needing to be fixed first.
