"My degree/career path was a mistake, and now I'm stuck financially forever."
How it sounds in your head: You chose a major everyone said wouldn't make money, or you're in a field that's not paying like you thought. Your friends in tech are thriving while you're struggling. You made the wrong choice and there's no recovering from it.
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
-- Romans 8:28Source: world system that values certain careers over others, combined with enemy accusation about past decisions limiting future provision.
Your loan payments don't match your paycheck. Everyone asks what you're going to 'do with that degree' in a tone that says you failed. The financial pressure confirms you picked wrong and now you're paying for it literally.
Peter went BACK to his old career (fishing) after following Jesus for three years—seemingly a 'failed' decision after denying Jesus. He fished ALL NIGHT and caught NOTHING. Jesus showed up and gave him a catch so large (153 fish) the net almost broke—instant provision in the 'wrong' career, followed by restoration and calling.
I REFUSE the lie that my career choice locked me out of provision. IT IS WRITTEN that ALL things work together for good. Joseph was SOLD into slavery and ended up second in Egypt. Moses spent 40 years in the wilderness before his assignment. Peter went back to fishing and Jesus gave him a net-breaking catch. IT IS WRITTEN in Philippians 4:19—my God shall supply ALL my need according to His riches in glory. My provision isn't tied to my major or my job title—it's tied to my FATHER. The barak blessing commands provision wherever I am. God is MULTIPLYING what's in my hand RIGHT NOW. Supernatural increase is MINE.
Your Father sees you stressed about picking the 'wrong' path, and He's smiling because He NEVER had a Plan B for you—every twist in your story is setting up your testimony. Like Peter fishing all night with nothing, then getting a net-breaker with Jesus, your Father is about to show up in your 'wrong' career with provision that makes no sense, proving it was never about the path but about His PRESENCE.
