"My dad can't be a 'real man' or provider if he can't give Mom a baby"
How it sounds in your head: I see Dad look down when other guys talk about their kids. He works so hard, does everything right, but this one thing he can't fix. I hear the whisper that he's failing, that real men make babies easily, that something's weak about him.
"For thus says the LORD: To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, and choose what pleases Me, and hold fast My covenant, even to them I will give in My house and within My walls a place and a name better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off."
-- Isaiah 56:4-5Source: World's definition of masculinity tied to virility and reproductive performance, making manhood about biology instead of covenant identity
Every culture measures men by their ability to produce offspring - it's baked into 'family name' and 'legacy' talk. Infertility feels like public failure of masculine duty.
Abraham was 100 years old, his body 'as good as dead' and Sarah's womb dead - medically impossible. He didn't weaken in faith but grew STRONGER, fully convinced God could do what He promised - and Isaac was born.
I REFUSE the lie that my dad's manhood is measured by reproductive ability. IT IS WRITTEN that God gives eunuchs a name better than sons and daughters. My dad is a son of Abraham through Christ, which means the BARAK blessing of multiplication is on him regardless of current biology. His seed is BLESSED because Jesus' blood speaks better things than biology. IT IS WRITTEN that Abraham was called father of nations while still childless - identity comes from God's Word, not test results. I decree my dad is the head and not the tail, blessed in every way including reproductive health. God can heal any seed, open any womb, create babies from dead bodies like He did for Abraham.
The Father isn't measuring your dad by sperm counts or family trees - He sees a beloved son, a man already complete in Christ, whose identity is secure regardless of biology. God's ready to prove His power THROUGH your dad's weakness, showing that babies come from covenant promise, not human effort.
