"The miscarriages we had decades ago prove God rejected my family line."
How it sounds in your head: We lost two babies before they were born. I'm old now, almost gone myself, but I never stopped wondering—was God saying no to us? Was our line rejected? Were we unworthy to carry life forward?
"But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive."
-- Genesis 50:20Enemy accusation that miscarriage equals divine rejection, turning tragedy into a statement about your worthiness and God's acceptance.
The pain was unbearable, the silence from heaven felt deafening, and religious people said things like 'God needed another angel' or 'maybe it wasn't His will.' It felt like rejection, not loss.
Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery, intended for death and erasure of his line. God turned it into the salvation of nations—what looked like the end of his legacy became the preservation of all Israel.
I REFUSE the lie that miscarriage means God rejected my family line. IT IS WRITTEN that the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly. The enemy attacked, but God's covenant stands. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 139:16 that all our days were written in His book before one of them came to be—including those babies, who are alive in eternity. My family line is blessed by the BARAK covenant of Abraham. Loss does not equal rejection. My seed is BLESSED across every generation, seen and unseen. I am the head and not the tail.
The Father wept with you over that loss. He did not author it—the thief did. Those babies are safely in His arms, and your family line is blessed, not cursed. He runs toward you with comfort, not condemnation.
