"My credit score is ruined. No one will trust me with money for years."
How it sounds in your head: Every rental application, every loan, every co-worker who checks my background will see I'm a financial disaster. I can't even get approved for a decent apartment. The number follows me everywhere.
"But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison."
-- Genesis 39:21World: The credit system positions a three-digit number as your worth, trustworthiness, and future potential. The world worships FICO scores as the gatekeeper of opportunity.
Applications get denied. Deposits are higher. Interest rates are brutal. The system literally discriminates based on this number, and it takes years to change.
Joseph went from prison inmate—with a record of being a foreign slave accused of attempted rape—to Prime Minister of Egypt in a single day. No background check cleared him. No credit score qualified him. Divine favor overrode every natural disqualification and put him second in command of a superpower.
I REFUSE the lie that my credit score determines my access or opportunity. IT IS WRITTEN that God gave Joseph FAVOR as a slave, then favor as a prisoner, then promoted him from prison to palace in one day. Background checks don't limit God. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed coming in and going out (Deuteronomy 28:6)—not based on FICO scores but on COVENANT. The BARAK blessing gives me favor with landlords, lenders, and decision-makers. I have the favor that opened doors for a PRISONER. I have the blessing that made Abraham wealthy after LYING. My credit report is not my Father's opinion of me. I declare supernatural favor that makes no sense, approvals that defy the system, and doors opening that natural qualifications can't explain. I am the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath.
Your Father isn't checking your credit score before blessing you—He's the one who promoted a prisoner to prime minister in 24 hours. He sees you as QUALIFIED by Jesus's blood, not Experian's algorithm, and He's opening doors the system says should stay closed.
