"My children are cursed because of my occult involvement—I ruined their spiritual inheritance."
How it sounds in your head: I practiced witchcraft before they were born, went to psychics while I was pregnant. Now my daughter struggles with anxiety, my son with addiction. Did I curse them? Did I cut them off from God's blessing because of my sins?
"The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself."
-- Ezekiel 18:20Religion—twisting generational curse teaching into parental guilt that makes mothers feel like their past doomed their children's futures.
She sees her children's struggles and feels crushing responsibility. Teaching about generational curses makes her believe her occult past infected her bloodline permanently.
Hezekiah's father Ahaz was one of the most wicked kings—he sacrificed his own sons in fire to pagan gods and filled the temple with idols. Yet Hezekiah did what was RIGHT in God's sight, trusted the Lord, and became the most blessed king since David. His father's occult wickedness didn't touch him.
I REFUSE the lie that my children are cursed by my occult past. IT IS WRITTEN that children do NOT bear the guilt of their parents—each person stands on their own before God. IT IS WRITTEN that God's gifts and calling are IRREVOCABLE. Hezekiah's father sacrificed children to demons, yet Hezekiah became the most blessed king. My children are Abraham's seed through FAITH, covered by the BARAK blessing that can't be reversed. My past doesn't determine their FUTURE. They are loved, called, and SEALED by God's purpose. I release them into GRACE, not guilt.
The Father isn't holding your occult past against your children—He's lavishing them with the SAME love and blessing He pours on you, completely independent of your history. Hezekiah's wicked father didn't stop God's plan for his son.
