"I got a tattoo with occult symbolism before I was saved—now it's a permanent mark that gives the enemy access."
How it sounds in your head: I have a tattoo of an occult symbol, got it when I was 18 and into dark stuff. Now I'm saved but the mark is still ON me. People say tattoos are 'doorways,' especially occult ones. I can't afford removal and I feel like I'm walking around with a 'kick me' sign for demons.
"Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads."
-- Revelation 7:3Legalistic teaching that elevates a skin marking above the blood marking of a redeemed believer, giving demons authority they don't possess over sealed saints.
The tattoo is visible and permanent, creating constant reminder and false sense of ongoing demonic connection. Teaching that tattoos are 'doorways' creates fear without teaching about the superior marking of the Lamb's blood.
This man had a lifetime of crime literally tattooed on his body (criminals were often marked), was CURRENTLY being executed, couldn't remove any markings, and had ZERO chance to 'clean up.' Jesus said, 'TODAY you will be with Me in Paradise.' Not 'after you remove the marks.' TODAY. Instant salvation despite permanent physical marks of his past.
I REFUSE the lie that my tattoo gives demons access. IT IS WRITTEN that I am sealed by God Himself—not on my skin, IN MY SPIRIT. The mark that matters is not the ink on my arm—it's the blood on my life. IT IS WRITTEN that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing shall separate me from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39). My tattoo is a 'created thing.' It has NO POWER to separate me from God or give demons access. I stand in the barak blessing: marked by covenant, not by ink.
The Father doesn't see a daughter with a demonic 'kick me' sign. He sees a daughter marked by the Lamb's blood, and that mark is LOUDER than any tattoo. He's not waiting for laser removal—He's covering you with a robe that hides every mark of your past. You're sealed. You're His. The ink is irrelevant.
