"My childbearing years are behind me, so God's promise of fruitfulness is no longer for me."
How it sounds in your head: I'm 85. That ship sailed decades ago. The promise of children and legacy was for younger women. Now I just wait to meet the Lord, my womb long forgotten.
"And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him."
-- Genesis 21:1-2Enemy uses biological reality to steal identity as blessed seed of Abraham, whispering God's promises had expiration dates.
Her body went through menopause forty years ago—the physical impossibility is undeniable. Every scripture about fruitfulness feels like it was written for someone else's season.
Sarah was 90, postmenopausal for decades, womb medically dead. God visited her and she conceived Isaac within the year—instant impossibility becoming reality.
I REFUSE the lie that God's fruitfulness has an age limit. IT IS WRITTEN that Sarah bore a son at 90 when her womb was dead. I am Abraham's seed through Christ, heir according to PROMISE, not biology. The BARAK blessing over my life doesn't expire with menopause. IT IS WRITTEN that even in old age I will still bear FRUIT (Psalm 92:14). I am a covenant woman, and fruitfulness flows from CONNECTION to the Vine, not from my body's timeline. My latter days are MORE fruitful than my beginning!
The Father sees you like Sarah—laughing at impossibility, calling dead wombs alive, making covenant promises to 90-year-olds. He's visiting you NOW, not because your body is young, but because His Word never expires and you are Abraham's blessed seed forever.
