"My business failed, so I'm a failure and God won't trust me with success again."
How it sounds in your head: Everyone saw you launch with all that confidence. Now everyone knows you couldn't pull it off. Your parents were right—you should've kept the stable job. God gave you a chance and you blew it.
"Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."

The tangible loss—money, reputation, time—feels like evidence God withdrew favor. Seeing former employees or investors reminds him daily that his leadership cost others, making the shame visceral and the 'failure' label seem permanent.
Abraham's 'faith venture' into Egypt resulted in lying about Sarah, nearly losing her to Pharaoh, and getting kicked out of the country—total leadership failure. Yet God didn't revoke the covenant; Abraham left RICHER, and the blessing continued uninterrupted because it was based on promise, not performance.
I REFUSE the lie that business failure makes me a failure. IT IS WRITTEN that I forget what's behind and press forward to God's upward call. My righteousness isn't from successful ventures but from Christ's blood. I am Abraham's seed, heir according to PROMISE, not profit margins. IT IS WRITTEN the blessing of Abraham is mine through Christ—the barak that protected liars and deceivers protects me. I am the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath. Closed doors don't define me; my Father's covenant does.
