"My body just can't handle stress and pressure like it used to when I was younger."
How it sounds in your head: You're only in your late twenties and already feeling like your body is failing. Friends can pull all-nighters, handle crazy schedules, bounce back—you can't. You feel 45, not 27. Something is fundamentally breaking down.
"But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."
-- Isaiah 40:31World system lie of inevitable physical decline, contradicting the covenant promise of renewed youth and sustained strength.
You literally CAN'T do what you did at 21. Your body protests. Recovery takes longer. You feel the difference, and it scares you that this is only the beginning.
Caleb was 85 years old and declared, 'I am as strong this day as on the day Moses sent me; as my strength was then, so my strength is now.' Then he proceeded to conquer a mountain filled with giants—INSTANT strength at 85 that matched his prime at 40.
I REFUSE the lie that my body is declining and can't handle stress. IT IS WRITTEN that those who wait on the Lord RENEW their strength, mount up with wings like eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint. My strength is not subject to age or natural decline—it is RENEWED by the Spirit. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 8:11 that the Spirit gives LIFE to my mortal body. I am not deteriorating; I am being RENEWED day by day. The BARAK blessing includes sustained vitality, and the same covenant that kept Caleb strong at 85 keeps me strong NOW.
The Father isn't accepting your decline as 'natural aging.' He's the God who sustained Moses' strength until 120, whose eyesight never dimmed—and He's offering you the same renewing power RIGHT NOW, not as a reward but as a covenant gift.
