"My body is failing because I didn't take care of it properly."
How it sounds in your head: If I'd eaten better, exercised more, made different choices—I wouldn't be like this. This frailty is my fault. I'm reaping what I sowed in poor health decisions.
"For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."
-- 2 Corinthians 5:21Enemy + religious 'reap what you sow' weaponized as health karma, denying the CURSE was nailed to the cross.
Every doctor visit, every limitation echoes with regret. She remembers the cigarettes, the stress, the meals skipped or overindulged—and believes her current suffering is PUNISHMENT.
Mephibosheth was crippled from age 5, disabled his whole life through no fault of his own. King David INSTANTLY restored him to royalty, gave him land, and seated him at the king's table FOREVER—disabled body and all.
I REFUSE the lie that my body is failing because I didn't take care of it properly. IT IS WRITTEN: Christ redeemed me from the CURSE of the law—sickness is curse, and I am BLESSED (Galatians 3:13). My righteousness is not based on past health choices; it's GIFT through Jesus. IT IS WRITTEN: By His stripes I WAS healed (1 Peter 2:24)—past tense, finished work. The BARAK blessing flows regardless of my past—Abraham LIED twice and still prospered. I am LOVED, not punished, in this very body.
The Father doesn't keep a scorecard of your health mistakes. He runs toward you with the robe of righteousness, declaring you WHOLE in His sight—no condemnation, only COMPASSION.
