"My body is broken and God won't fix it because I'm not good enough."
How it sounds in your head: Everyone else seems whole and normal. I watch other kids do things I can't, and it feels like God picked them but forgot about me. Maybe if I prayed harder or was a better Christian, He'd heal me.
"Jesus answered, 'Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.'"
-- John 9:3Enemy twisting disability into identity, plus religious teaching that healing requires perfect faith or behavior.
He sees other kids effortlessly doing what he struggles with daily, making the disability feel permanent and personal. Church teachings about 'enough faith' make him feel his body is broken because his faith is broken.
Crippled in both feet since age five, considered worthless and hiding in fear. King David SOUGHT him out, restored ALL his grandfather's land, gave him permanent place at the king's table—sat him with PRINCES despite his disability.
I REFUSE the lie that my body determines my value or God's love for me. IT IS WRITTEN that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, chosen before the foundation of the world. My disability is not punishment—it's a platform for God's glory. IT IS WRITTEN that by Jesus' stripes I AM healed, and whether that healing comes today or in eternity, my identity is BELOVED SON, not broken boy. I carry the BARAK blessing of Abraham—blessed coming in and going out. I walk in the favor that protected liars, deceivers, and murderers, and I am righteous by JESUS' blood, not my body's performance.
The Father isn't waiting for your body to be 'good enough'—He's running toward you RIGHT NOW, seeing you as WHOLE in Christ. Like the prodigal's father had the robe ready before the son came home, your healing is already purchased, your worth already established.
