"My body is breaking down because I'm getting older, this is just normal aging."
How it sounds in your head: You're 17 and your knees hurt after basketball. Your back aches. Your dad says 'wait until you're my age.' Coaches say your body peaked at 16. Feels like decline already started.
"But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."
-- Isaiah 40:31Source: World system that worships youth, declares bodies disposable after prime athletic years.
You literally feel worse than you did at 14. Every adult around you complains about their aging body, making it seem inevitable. Sports culture says athletic prime is 18-25, then it's all downhill.
Caleb at 85 years old declared 'I am as strong this day as on the day Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war.' He drove out giants and took his mountain at an age when world says you should be in a nursing home.
I REFUSE the lie that my body must decline with age. IT IS WRITTEN that those who wait on the Lord RENEW their strength—not lose it. I am a branch connected to the Vine, and Life flows through me continually. My strength is not based on my birth year but on my connection to the Source. IT IS WRITTEN in Deuteronomy 28:8 that the Lord COMMANDS the blessing on me—that includes my body, my strength, my vitality. Caleb was stronger at 85 than at 40. Moses had undimmed eyes at 120. I receive RENEWING strength, not declining strength, because I'm in Christ.
The Father isn't waiting for you to accept decline—He's running toward you with RENEWING life in His hands. While you're worried about deteriorating, He's already released supernatural strength into your body, the same power that raised Christ from the dead dwelling in your mortal flesh, making it ALIVE.
