She can SEE the gap—other moms helped with college, cars, weddings, down payments. She couldn't. Her kids ARE struggling financially, and she knows if she'd managed money better, she could have helped them. The cause-effect feels obvious and devastating.
Simeon and Levi massacred an entire city—MURDERERS. Jacob feared retaliation from surrounding nations. But Genesis 35:5 says 'the terror of God was upon the cities that were all around them, and they did not pursue the sons of Jacob.' MURDERERS got divine protection because of covenant blessing. If that didn't break the generational blessing, your budget mistakes can't either.
I REFUSE the lie that my past mistakes determine my children's financial future. IT IS WRITTEN that wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous—for ME and my CHILDREN'S children. The BARAK blessing is GENERATIONAL, flowing through covenant not performance. Jacob's sons were MURDERERS and still got divine protection. IT IS WRITTEN in Deuteronomy 28:11 that the Lord grants me PLENTY, and that includes provision for my children. Abraham's blessing is mine and THEIRS through Christ. I speak breakthrough over my children NOW—they are blessed, not cursed by my past.
Your Father doesn't punish children for parents' mistakes—He BLESSES children because of covenant. Right now He's setting up divine connections, supernatural doors, and provision for your kids that has NOTHING to do with your past and EVERYTHING to do with His covenant faithfulness.
