"My accent and language barriers keep me from being taken seriously in ministry."
How it sounds in your head: You have profound revelation, but when you speak, people focus on your grammar or accent. You've been corrected in meetings, passed over for teaching opportunities. Your writing gets edited so heavily it no longer sounds like you. You wonder if God can use someone who doesn't sound 'professional.'
"Then Moses said to the LORD, 'O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.' So the LORD said to him, 'Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD? Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.'"
-- Exodus 4:10-12Enemy + religious spirit: Using language as a weapon to silence the prophetic voice God intentionally gave a multicultural sound.
She's been interrupted mid-sentence to be corrected. She's watched less spiritually mature people get platforms because they 'communicate better.' Her deep theological insights are dismissed because of how she delivers them.
Moses argued with God about his poor speaking ability, yet God used him to deliver the most powerful prophetic confrontation in history—speaking to Pharaoh, delivering the law, leading millions. God didn't fix his speech; He used it exactly as it was and added His glory to it.
I REFUSE the lie that my accent or language barriers disqualify me from speaking God's truth. IT IS WRITTEN that God asks 'Who made your mouth? Have not I, the LORD?' My voice is exactly as the Father designed it. IT IS WRITTEN that God chose the foolish things to shame the wise—my 'weakness' in language is actually His strength showcased. I am not less articulate; I am AUTHENTIC. The revelation I carry transcends grammar, and the anointing on my life breaks through every language barrier. I declare that God is opening platforms where my voice—accent and all—will be sought after because it carries a sound heaven recognizes. The BARAK blessing on my words makes them life-changing regardless of pronunciation. I speak with divine authority.
The Father is running toward you with the scroll that has YOUR voice recorded on it—not a polished, westernized version, but the exact sound that carries your story, your fire, your multicultural anointing. He's preparing audiences who are hungry for authenticity, not performance.
