"My abortion means I murdered my own child and God can't forgive that."
How it sounds in your head: I took a life—my own baby's life. Every Mother's Day, every pregnancy announcement, every ultrasound picture reminds me I'm a murderer. How could God forgive someone who killed their own child?
"Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool."
-- Isaiah 1:18Enemy condemnation amplified by pro-life rhetoric that emphasizes judgment over Jesus, making women carry guilt Jesus already carried.
The physical finality of it feels unforgivable—you can't undo it, can't bring that life back. Religious voices call it murder, and the grief and shame agree with the accusation.
Moses murdered an Egyptian and hid his body in the sand—actual, intentional murder. God still chose him to lead an entire nation and speak with him face to face as a friend.
I REFUSE the lie that my abortion disqualifies me from God's love and purpose. IT IS WRITTEN that though my sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow—Jesus already carried this. IT IS WRITTEN that there is now NO CONDEMNATION for those in Christ Jesus. I didn't understand what I was doing, and even if I did, His blood is greater. I am Abraham's seed, covered by the BARAK blessing that protected even murderers in the covenant line. The Father sees me as righteous, pure, and qualified—not because of what I did or didn't do, but because of what Jesus did.
The Father doesn't see you as a murderer—He sees you as His daughter, covered in the blood of His Son, which is infinitely more powerful than any blood shed in your past. He's not waiting for you to feel clean enough to approach; He's running toward you with healing and purpose.
