"Modern reproductive technology is man's way, not God's way—IVF is playing God and won't be blessed."
How it sounds in your head: My son and daughter-in-law are doing IVF and part of me wonders if they should just trust God naturally. It feels like we're forcing something instead of waiting on the Lord. Is medical intervention showing lack of faith?
"If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you."
-- Exodus 15:26Religion creating false dichotomy between medical help and faith, making God's provision through science seem like unbelief.
His generation values 'natural' and distrusts over-medicalization. IVF feels mechanical and forced compared to 'trusting God'—creates internal conflict about supporting his kids' choice.
Hezekiah was dying, prayed for healing, and God promised fifteen more years. Then Isaiah said to apply a lump of FIGS (medicine) to the boil—God used both supernatural promise AND natural remedy together for instant healing.
I REFUSE the lie that IVF is opposing God's way. IT IS WRITTEN: 'I am the LORD who heals you'—and He heals through every means, including medical technology. I declare God's blessing over my children's IVF process. Every embryo is BLESSED. Every procedure is COVERED by God's favor. IT IS WRITTEN in James 1:5—God gives wisdom to doctors. I speak SUCCESSFUL implantation, HEALTHY pregnancy, and STRONG babies. The barak blessing flows through medical intervention just as it flows through natural conception. This is partnership WITH God, not against Him.
The Father isn't opposing medical help—He's running toward your children through every avenue, including IVF, ready to give life abundantly through doctors' hands and His supernatural power combined. He invented the reproductive system and the brains that figured out IVF.
