"Miscarriage means my body will always betray me and I can't trust it to carry life."
How it sounds in your head: It happened once, it'll happen again. Every twinge sends panic. I can't relax even if I do get pregnant because my body has already proven it can't hold what's precious. I'm a broken vessel that spills what's given.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust."
-- Joel 2:25Trauma creating expectation of repeated failure, partnered with enemy accusation that past loss predicts future pattern.
The body's betrayal once creates hypervigilance and fear-based certainty that patterns repeat. Medical statistics about recurrence rates seem to confirm that lightning can and will strike twice.
Job lost ALL ten children in one day - devastating, complete loss. But the Lord blessed the LATTER days of Job MORE than the beginning - he had ten MORE children. Past loss didn't predict future pattern; God's restoration erased the devastation with INCREASE.
I REFUSE the lie that past loss predicts future pattern. IT IS WRITTEN: 'I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten.' My body is not cursed to repeat tragedy - it's blessed under the BARAK covenant. One miscarriage does NOT define my reproductive future. IT IS WRITTEN: 'The Lord will command the blessing on you.' I receive restoration and INCREASE, not repeated loss. Job lost all ten children and God gave him ten MORE. My latter shall be greater than my former.
The Father isn't replaying past loss on repeat - He's the God of RESTORATION who gives beauty for ashes and causes all things to work together for good. While you're fearing repetition, He's preparing multiplication, because He specializes in turning mourning into dancing and making the latter greater than the former.
