"Miraculous healing testimonies are exaggerated or faked by desperate people seeking attention."
How it sounds in your head: Those healing stories are either lies, placebo effect, or misdiagnosed conditions that would've resolved anyway. People who claim miracles are either deluded or con artists. You're too intelligent to fall for that emotional manipulation.
"He answered and said, 'Whether He is a sinner or not I do not know. One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see.'"
-- John 9:25Source: Western rationalism and religious cynicism that demands God fit into naturalistic explanations, eliminating the supernatural.
You've seen TV preachers push people over and call it healing, which made you suspicious of all supernatural claims. Your scientific training demands reproducible evidence, and miracles by definition can't be controlled in a lab.
Born blind from birth—not sick then healed, but never had sight at all—the disciples debated whose sin caused it while Jesus spit in dirt and made mud. Instant healing: eyes that never functioned suddenly saw perfectly, and even hostile Pharisees couldn't deny the undeniable miracle.
I REFUSE the lie that healing testimonies are exaggerated or fake. IT IS WRITTEN that though I was blind, now I see—and no amount of religious skepticism can deny what God has done. I reject the pride that demands I understand HOW before I believe THAT God heals. The Father's nature is to heal, and He doesn't need my intellectual approval to move. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 103:3 that He heals ALL my diseases—not some, not the explainable ones, ALL. I am under the BARAK blessing where God defends even liars and deceivers, how much more does He heal those in Christ? I receive the testimony of His goodness without cynicism, knowing the same Jesus who opened blind eyes is UNCHANGED today.
The Father isn't offended by your skepticism—He's inviting you to taste and see His goodness personally, not through someone else's story. He's already running toward you with healing, not waiting for you to resolve your intellectual objections first.
