"Love is dead between my parents. There's no bringing it back now."
How it sounds in your head: They don't even look at each other anymore. You remember when they used to laugh together, but now there's just coldness. You think maybe they're just staying together for you and your siblings, and that makes you feel guilty.
"Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live."
-- Ezekiel 37:5Enemy uses absence of feelings as proof of absence of God's power to resurrect.
You can see it with your own eyes—no affection, no warmth. When feelings are gone, it seems impossible they could ever come back. Dead feels permanent.
Lazarus was dead FOUR DAYS, already decomposing, absolutely hopeless by human standards. Jesus spoke ONE WORD—'Lazarus, come forth!'—and instant resurrection happened. What was rotting became alive again.
I REFUSE the lie that love is permanently dead in my parents' marriage. IT IS WRITTEN that God causes breath to enter dry bones and they LIVE. The same Jesus who raised Lazarus from FOUR DAYS dead can resurrect love that's been cold for years. My family is under the BARAK covenant blessing—resurrection power flows through our bloodline. IT IS WRITTEN that God makes all things new. I speak LIFE over my parents' relationship. What looks like a tomb is about to be an empty tomb. Resurrection is coming.
The Father isn't intimidated by cold hearts or dead feelings. He's the God who creates something from nothing, who spoke galaxies into existence—rekindling love is light work for Him, and He's already moving.
