"Kingdom wealth means sacrificing now for treasure in heaven—earthly abundance is a distraction."
How it sounds in your head: You've been taught to store up treasures in heaven and that earthly wealth is temporary and ultimately meaningless. Real Kingdom focus means living sacrificially now for eternal reward later. Wanting physical prosperity feels like you're trading eternal for temporal.
"And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day."
-- Deuteronomy 8:18Religious false dichotomy that makes physical provision compete with spiritual focus instead of being covenant partners.
Jesus did warn about storing up earthly treasures, and the rich young ruler walked away sad. Seeking wealth feels like choosing earth over heaven, especially at your age when eternal perspective should matter more.
Abraham was VERY RICH in livestock, silver, and gold—not despite his faith but BECAUSE of covenant blessing. His wealth didn't compete with his relationship with God; it PROVED God's faithfulness and funded his legacy for generations.
I REFUSE the lie that physical wealth distracts from Kingdom focus. IT IS WRITTEN that God gives me power to get wealth to ESTABLISH His covenant—provision is PURPOSE, not distraction. Abraham was extremely wealthy AND the father of faith. His riches didn't hinder God's plan—they FUNDED it. IT IS WRITTEN that the blessing of Abraham is mine through Christ. The barak that made Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob wealthy rests on me by BLOOD COVENANT. I don't choose earth over heaven—I receive earth AS AN HEIR to advance heaven's agenda. Wealth in my hands is a KINGDOM WEAPON, not a carnal compromise. I am blessed to BE a blessing, and that requires SUPPLY.
Your Father isn't asking you to stay broke to prove you love Him—He's handing you resources like He handed the prodigal the ring and robe, not to distract you from sonship but to DEMONSTRATE it. You're not a beggar; you're an HEIR, and heirs have ACCESS to the King's treasury for Kingdom purposes.
