"Kingdom wealth means I have to give it all away; I can't enjoy provision."
How it sounds in your head: If God blesses me, He'll just expect me to give it away. I can't enjoy anything or I'm selfish. True stewardship means living on nothing so everything goes to missions or the poor.
"Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy."
-- 1 Timothy 6:17Religion: Poverty vow mindset; guilt manipulation; 'rich young ruler' preaching twisted into law.
He's heard sermons condemning those who 'lay up treasures on earth' and equating enjoyment of blessing with carnality. Every testimony of provision ends with 'then I gave it all away' as if that's required.
Abraham was 'very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold'—and Scripture celebrates this as covenant blessing, not something to apologize for. He enjoyed his wealth while being generous, proving you can do both without guilt.
I REFUSE the lie that enjoying provision is selfish or that Kingdom wealth requires poverty-vow living. IT IS WRITTEN that God gives us richly ALL things to ENJOY (1 Timothy 6:17). I receive blessing without guilt, enjoy provision without shame, and give generously from overflow, not obligation. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed in the city and in the field, blessed coming in and going out (Deuteronomy 28:3,6). The BARAK blessing is for my ENJOYMENT and others' blessing. I declare I receive abundantly, enjoy freely, and give joyfully—not from lack but from the Father's lavish provision that keeps flowing.
Your Father doesn't give you the ring and robe just so you can immediately hand them to someone else—He wants you to WEAR them, enjoy being a son, and give from the abundance that keeps coming. The party is FOR you, not despite you.
