"Kingdom wealth is only spiritual; expecting natural provision is greedy materialism."
How it sounds in your head: You should be content with what you have at your age. Wanting more money sounds worldly and shallow. Real Christians focus on heavenly treasures, not retirement accounts or leaving inheritance.
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
-- 3 John 1:2Religious teaching that spiritualizes away God's covenant promises, making poverty sound holy and provision sound carnal.
You've been taught for decades that godly people don't focus on money. Contentment sermons made you feel guilty for wanting financial security in retirement or blessing for your grandchildren.
Abraham was extremely rich in livestock, silver, and gold - and God called him righteous by faith, not in spite of his wealth but as fulfillment of covenant blessing. His wealth was spiritual AND material simultaneously.
I REFUSE the lie that Kingdom wealth is only spiritual and wanting provision is greedy. IT IS WRITTEN that John prayed I would prosper in ALL THINGS, not just my soul. My Father delights in the prosperity of His servant. IT IS WRITTEN in Galatians 3:29 that I am Abraham's seed and heir according to promise - the same Abraham who was extremely wealthy in silver, gold, and livestock by God's covenant design. Material blessing isn't worldly when it flows from Father's nature. I receive both spiritual riches AND natural provision without guilt. The BARAK blessing covers every area of my life because I'm in Christ, and He took the curse so I could walk in deuteronomy 28:1-14 blessing - storehouses commanded full, head not tail, above only.
Your Father doesn't want you choosing between spiritual wealth and natural provision - He's running toward you with both hands full, one holding heavenly treasures and the other holding the keys to earthly storehouses, delighting to give His retiring daughter the Kingdom in fullness.
