"Kingdom wealth is for building ministries—not for personal comfort in my final days."
How it sounds in your head: I understand wealth for Kingdom work, but wanting financial ease personally feels self-indulgent at ninety. The money should go to mission fields and church planting, not making my last days more comfortable. That would be using God's provision selfishly.
"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!"
-- Matthew 7:11Religious teaching that Kingdom provision is only validated through ministry output, denying God's desire to bless His children simply because He loves them.
Church language constantly frames financial blessing in ministry/mission terms, creating guilt over personal benefit. Lifetime of male provider/mission focus makes personal receiving feel selfish versus giving toward purpose.
Crippled, hiding in fear, unable to produce anything for the kingdom—David restored ALL Saul's land, gave him permanent place at the king's table, and provided servants to work the land. Pure GRACE for personal blessing, zero productivity required, just covenant sonship.
I REFUSE the lie that Kingdom wealth is only for ministry work and not my personal comfort. IT IS WRITTEN that my Father gives GOOD THINGS to His children who ask because they're CHILDREN, not employees. The BARAK blessing covers MY basket, MY storehouse—personal provision is INCLUDED, not excluded. IT IS WRITTEN that God prepares a table BEFORE ME—for my benefit, my comfort, my joy. I am Mephibosheth receiving full restoration and permanent provision with zero ministry output required, just SONSHIP. I receive financial ease in my final days because my Father DELIGHTS in blessing His sons, and I REST in provision without guilt, productivity, or justification.
Your Father isn't a ministry director evaluating your output—He's the Father who seats the crippled Mephibosheth at His table permanently just because of covenant love. He's preparing provision for your final days that has NOTHING to do with what you'll build and EVERYTHING to do with how much He loves watching His son rest in abundance.
