"Kingdom wealth and worldly get-rich-quick are the same thing. Both are greed."
How it sounds in your head: You've seen enough televangelists and prosperity preachers to know it's all the same con. Whether it's a pyramid scheme or a pulpit, it's greed dressed up. Biblical provision is modest and slow. Anything else is Mammon.
"Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous."
-- Genesis 26:12-13Source: religion conflating legitimate supernatural provision with worldly schemes, causing believers to reject biblical prosperity out of fear of greed.
You've watched ministry scandals and Ponzi schemes your whole life. The overlap between 'name it claim it' preaching and actual fraud has made you lump all prosperity teaching together as manipulation.
During a famine, Isaac LIED about his wife (same sin as his father Abraham), yet God made him so wealthy in one year that the Philistines envied him. The king asked him to leave because his wealth was too intimidating—and this happened while he was LYING.
I REFUSE the lie that Kingdom wealth is the same as worldly greed. IT IS WRITTEN that Isaac reaped a hundredfold in ONE YEAR and the Lord blessed him to very great prosperity. IT IS WRITTEN that I am redeemed from the curse and blessed with the blessing of Abraham. God is not afraid of FAST or LARGE provision. He multiplied five loaves to feed thousands INSTANTLY. He turned water to 180 gallons of wine in MOMENTS. I reject religious poverty that calls God's abundance 'greed.' I am a son, and my Father delights in prospering me—quickly if He chooses.
Your Father isn't cautiously rationing blessings like a suspicious accountant. He's the One who told Israel to ask Egypt for silver and gold, who made Isaac intimidatingly wealthy in a famine, who gave Solomon such wealth that silver was as common as stones. He's running toward you with extravagant blessing, not a religious lecture about modest living.
