"IVF is the only way and means God won't do a miracle for me."
How it sounds in your head: You've researched the success rates, taken out a loan, scheduled the injections. But part of you feels like choosing IVF means you're giving up on God doing it supernaturally. Like if you had MORE faith, you wouldn't need science. But you're so tired of waiting and watching and failing.
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."
-- Proverbs 3:5-6Source: False dichotomy between faith and medicine, making IVF feel like a 'lesser' blessing or evidence of weak faith.
People at church whisper about 'just trusting God' and you feel judged for 'not having enough faith' to wait for the natural miracle. The financial burden feels like proof you're doing something wrong.
Paul begged God THREE times to remove his 'thorn in the flesh.' God said NO and instead gave him grace to live with it. Sometimes God's answer is 'My grace is sufficient' through the means available, not miraculous removal—and that's STILL His goodness.
I REFUSE the lie that IVF is a 'lesser' blessing or evidence of weak faith. IT IS WRITTEN that in ALL my ways I acknowledge Him and He directs my paths—whether through natural conception or medical intervention, the BABY is the miracle. God is not offended by science—He invented it. IT IS WRITTEN in James 1:17 that EVERY GOOD GIFT comes from the Father, including doctors, embryologists, and technology. I am Abraham's seed, the BARAK blessing rests on my womb, and whether conception happens in my body or a petri dish, it's STILL God's miraculous gift. I receive breakthrough through ANY means He chooses.
The Father isn't ranking conception methods on a holiness scale—He's celebrating the BABY, however it arrives. While you're feeling judged for choosing IVF, He's already blessing the embryo and calling it GOOD because every life is His miraculous design.
