David, the man after God's own heart, committed adultery then murdered the woman's husband to cover it up—massive moral failure from God's chosen king. Nathan confronted him, David repented, consequences came but God didn't reject him—God's truth survived David's hypocrisy.
I REFUSE the lie that human hypocrisy disproves divine truth. IT IS WRITTEN: 'Let God be true but every man a liar'—Christianity stands or falls on CHRIST, not Christians. David committed adultery and murder and stayed in covenant. Peter denied Jesus three times and became the rock. Paul persecuted Christians and wrote half the New Testament. IT IS WRITTEN that even the hero believers were hypocrites at times—which proves grace is REAL, not that truth is FAKE. I'm under the BARAK blessing—Jacob deceived everyone, his sons murdered a city, yet the blessing stood because it was based on GOD'S faithfulness, not theirs. The Father isn't defined by His failed followers; He's the One running toward the failures with the robe and ring, which is exactly what I've needed all along.
The Father sees you wounded by people who claimed His name but didn't reflect His heart, and He's angry too—Jesus was FURIOUS at religious hypocrisy. He's inviting you to see past the failures of humans to the perfection of Jesus, and He's about to show you HIS real nature, not the distorted version hypocrites displayed.
