"I've messed up too much to have any real spiritual authority now."
How it sounds in your head: I know what I've done. The compromises I've made. The sins I've repeated. I lost my temper at my kids yesterday. I had impure thoughts this morning. How can I command demons when I can't even command my own thoughts? Authority is for the holy ones, not the struggling ones.
"And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power."
-- Colossians 2:10Religion says authority comes from performance, but Scripture says it comes from POSITION in Christ regardless of behavior.
She feels hypocrisy commanding darkness when she struggles with her own. Recent failures feel disqualifying. The enemy accuses her constantly, and shame feels more real than her identity in Christ.
Peter denied Jesus three times, cursing and swearing he didn't know Him. Weeks later, he commanded a lame man to walk in Jesus' name and the man was INSTANTLY healed. His failure didn't disqualify his authority—Jesus' resurrection power did the work.
I REFUSE the lie that my failures cancel my authority. IT IS WRITTEN: I am COMPLETE in Christ, who is the head of all principality and power. My completeness is not based on my performance but on His finished work. There is NO condemnation to those in Christ Jesus—not less condemnation, not conditional condemnation, NONE. My authority flows from my POSITION as His daughter, not my PERFECTION as a performer. IT IS WRITTEN: The accuser has been cast down, and I overcome by the blood of the Lamb, not by my flawless record. The BARAK blessing that protected liars and deceivers protects me in the NEW covenant through Jesus' blood. I speak with Heaven's authority because I belong to Jesus, period.
The Father isn't waiting for you to clean up before He empowers you—He's running toward you while you still smell like yesterday's failure. He's placing the ring of authority on your hand saying 'You are MINE, and that's the only credential you need.'
