"I have no spiritual authority."
How it sounds in your head: I've made too many mistakes in my life. I've forfeited any right to spiritual authority.
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
-- Romans 8:1Shame and condemnation from the enemy, religious performance-based thinking that ties authority to worthiness
Memories of failures, ongoing consequences of past decisions, guilt and shame, comparing her past to others who seem to have lived 'cleaner' lives, and religious voices that disqualify based on mistakes.
Peter denied Jesus three times, yet after his restoration, Jesus gave him authority to feed His sheep. Peter went on to preach with such authority that 3,000 were saved at Pentecost, proving past failure doesn't disqualify future authority.
My authority in Christ is not based on my perfect performance but on His perfect sacrifice. IT IS WRITTEN that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus, and I refuse to accept condemnation that would rob me of the authority Jesus died to give me. My past is covered by the blood, and I stand in complete righteousness before God. Every mistake has been redeemed, and God wastes nothing—He has used my journey to equip me with compassion and wisdom. IT IS WRITTEN that I have been given authority over all the power of the enemy, and my past does not revoke what grace has freely given. I am restored, redeemed, and walking in full spiritual authority.
Father has taken every mistake and failure and transformed them into testimonies of His grace, and He is now releasing you into authority precisely because you understand mercy, redemption, and the power of His forgiveness.
