"I've deconstructed too far to ever go back to simple faith"
How it sounds in your head: I can't unsee what I've seen. The theology doesn't fit in neat boxes anymore. Even if I wanted to believe like I used to, I can't—and maybe that means I've crossed some line God won't forgive.
"The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: 'Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.'"
-- Jeremiah 31:3Religious systems equate theological evolution with apostasy—but Jesus called mature faith 'as a child,' not childish.
Her faith transformation feels like destruction because church culture often mistakes certainty for maturity. She's actually growing but it feels like dying because no one taught her that deeper faith looks messier.
Job spent 35 chapters questioning God's justice and accusing Him of wrongdoing—his friends defended God's reputation. Yet God told the friends, 'You have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has,' then gave Job DOUBLE everything instantly.
I REFUSE the lie that honest wrestling disqualifies me from God's presence. IT IS WRITTEN that God loves me with EVERLASTING love—no question can outlast it. Job argued with God for chapters and was called righteous while religious defenders were rebuked. IT IS WRITTEN that God draws me with lovingkindness, not condemnation. I am the BARAK blessed daughter of Abraham, protected even in my theological evolution. My deconstruction is actually reconstruction into deeper truth.
The Father isn't waiting for you to get your theology perfect before He runs to you—He's already running, celebrating that you're pursuing real faith instead of borrowed answers. Your messy questions delight Him more than someone else's neat formulas.
