"It's too late to undo the damage that's been done."
How it sounds in your head: He's already been exposed to so much. The things he's seen online, the choices he's made. You can't unring that bell. Even if he comes back, he'll carry those scars forever.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you."
-- Joel 2:25Enemy lie that sin creates permanent damage beyond God's redemptive power, limiting grace.
You know what he's been involved in—the content he's consumed, the things he's tried. Research says early exposure to certain things changes the brain permanently, and you fear the damage is irreversible.
Rahab was a PROSTITUTE in a pagan city—her past was public, her profession was shameful. Yet God not only saved her, He put her in the MESSIANIC LINE. Her past didn't disqualify her; it became part of the redemption story.
I REFUSE the lie that damage is permanent with God. IT IS WRITTEN that God RESTORES the years the locusts ate—not just moving forward, but REDEEMING backward. My son is not defined by what he's been exposed to. IT IS WRITTEN in Revelation 21:5 that God makes ALL THINGS NEW. That includes rewiring brains, healing memories, erasing shame. The blood of Jesus doesn't just cover—it TRANSFORMS. The BARAK blessing doesn't just protect going forward; it REDEEMS what's already happened. Nothing is too late with the God who resurrects the dead.
The Father doesn't look at your son and see damaged goods—He sees RAW MATERIAL for a testimony that will blow people's minds. The bigger the mess, the bigger the miracle.
