"Infertility is God's way of saying I'm not meant to be a mother."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe this is a closed door I need to accept. Perhaps motherhood just isn't part of God's plan for me. I'm trying to force something He never intended.
"He grants the barren woman a home, like a joyful mother of children. Praise the LORD!"
-- Psalm 113:9Religion teaches that circumstances reveal God's will; closed doors are His 'no' rather than the enemy's attack.
Years of trying with no results creates a narrative that God must be saying something through the silence. Well-meaning Christians say 'God has different plans for you' which sounds spiritual but devastates.
She was barren with no name even recorded in Scripture—seemingly forgotten and anonymous. The Angel of the Lord appeared and said 'you shall conceive'—she bore Samson, a deliverer of Israel, THAT YEAR.
I REFUSE the lie that infertility is God's closed door. IT IS WRITTEN that He GRANTS the barren woman a home as a joyful mother—that's His promise, not His denial. My barrenness is not His will; it's the enemy's attempt to steal what God already said is mine. Children are a HERITAGE from the Lord, and I am His daughter—He doesn't withhold His heritage from His own. IT IS WRITTEN that the desire to mother is a gift from Him, and He who began a good work in me WILL complete it. I am MEANT to be a mother, I am CALLED to be a mother, and I WILL be a mother. This is not a closed door; it's a BIRTH in progress.
The Father didn't plant the desire for motherhood in your heart just to torture you—He placed it there because He's about to FULFILL it. He's not saying no; He's saying 'watch what I'm about to do with this impossible situation.'
