"In a room full of people, I'm still alone. Connection is impossible for me."
How it sounds in your head: You're surrounded by bodies but completely isolated. Conversations happen around you, not with you. You fake laugh at jokes you don't care about. Deep connection feels like something other people have that you can't access.
"For He Himself has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'"
-- Hebrews 13:5Isolation curse designed to prevent tribe-building - targets those called to gather and lead communities.
You can be at a party and feel utterly alone. Friend groups exist but you're never fully IN. Every relationship feels surface-level. Nobody knows the real you because showing it risks the little connection you have.
Sold by brothers, falsely accused, thrown in prison - utterly alone. Scripture repeats 'the LORD was with Joseph' three times in his darkest isolation. Presence brought instant favor everywhere he went despite circumstances.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm alone or that connection is impossible. IT IS WRITTEN that God will NEVER leave me or forsake me - Jesus is closer than the crowd ignoring me. The Lord was WITH Joseph in the pit, in slavery, in prison - His presence brings favor even in isolation. IT IS WRITTEN that nothing can separate me from the love of Christ. The BARAK blessing means I carry a presence that draws the right tribe. I am NEVER ALONE, CONSTANTLY ACCOMPANIED, and DEEPLY CONNECTED to the Father.
The Father doesn't wait for you to find the right crowd - He's been with you in every lonely room, celebrating that you're never actually alone even when it feels that way. He's running toward you with the tribe He's been preparing while you felt isolated.
