"I'm too young to receive my inheritance - I have to wait until I'm grown."
How it sounds in your head: Adults control everything. I can't make money yet, can't drive, can't work. Every good thing is locked behind 'when you're older.' God's blessings are for adults who have jobs and pay bills.
"Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, because of Your enemies, that You may silence the enemy and the avenger."
-- Psalm 8:2Religion: teaching that spiritual blessings are age-gated, making God's promises future-tense instead of NOW.
You're physically dependent on adults for everything. You can't legally work or control money, so spiritual provision feels equally restricted.
David as a teenage shepherd killed a lion and bear with his bare hands through God's strength. Then immediately killed Goliath while trained soldiers watched - instant victory, zero experience required.
I REFUSE the lie that my age disqualifies me from covenant blessing. IT IS WRITTEN: Out of the mouth of babes God ordains strength to silence enemies. David killed giants as a teenager. Samuel heard God as a child. Timothy led churches in his youth. I don't have to wait until I'm grown to walk in the BARAK blessing. IT IS WRITTEN: I am Abraham's seed NOW, blessed coming in and going out NOW, the head and not the tail TODAY. God isn't waiting for my birthday to release my inheritance.
Your Father ran to the prodigal while he was still far off - He's not making you wait until you're 'old enough.' He's releasing blessing NOW because you're His son NOW, not someday.
