Too Old
"I'm too old to have the energy for young kids—I'm already exhausted."

How it sounds in your head: You see moms in their twenties at the park looking fresh while you can barely keep up with bedtime. Your body aches more, you need more sleep, and you wonder if you're shortchanging your kids by not having the energy their friends' younger moms seem to have.

Isaiah 40:31

"But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."

-- Isaiah 40:31
Enemy whispers: You're too old and tired for young kids. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Isaiah 40:31 - 'Those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.' Your strength doesn't come from your age—it comes from the Source. Moses led millions through the desert at 80+. Your youth is renewed like the eagle's. God isn't asking you to mother in your own strength—He's offering His.
Quick Truth: LIE: Too old/tired for kids. TRUTH: Those who wait on the Lord renew strength, run without weariness—He sustains you. (Isaiah 40:31)

Enemy using natural fatigue to condemn and comparing your inside to others' outside, making you feel like a failing mother.

Why this feels true:

You ARE more tired than you were at 25. Recovery takes longer. You see younger moms seemingly effortless while you're collapsing by 8pm. The physical demands feel heavier than they would have a decade ago.

Deuteronomy 34:7
Moses

Moses was 120 years old when he died, and Scripture records 'his eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished.' After leading millions through the wilderness, dealing with constant complaining, climbing mountains—he had supernatural strength until his last day because God sustained him.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that my age steals my ability to mother well. IT IS WRITTEN that those who wait on the Lord renew their strength, they run and are not weary, they walk and do not faint. My youth is renewed like the eagle's—this is the BARAK blessing in operation. I do not mother in my own strength but in His unlimited supply. IT IS WRITTEN that His strength is made perfect in weakness. I am not too old, too tired, or too depleted. I am a branch connected to the Vine, and His life flows through me. My children are blessed because I am blessed, and the anointing on my life breaks every yoke of exhaustion.

But God actually:

The Father isn't shaming you for being tired—He's inviting you to His rest. He sees every 3am feeding, every tantrum, every ounce of energy you pour out. He's not comparing you to younger moms; He's filling you with strength they don't even know they need yet.
