"I'm too drained to serve God effectively; I have nothing left to give."
How it sounds in your head: You see younger women leading Bible studies and serving energetically, and you feel obsolete. Your fatigue makes you feel spiritually useless. You think God needs your energy level to use you, and yours is depleted.
"And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
-- 2 Corinthians 12:9Religious performance lie that God's work depends on your strength rather than His Spirit through your weakness.
You genuinely feel physically limited and compare yourself to your younger self or younger women. Church culture often celebrates youthful energy as spiritual vitality, making you feel like a burden rather than a blessing.
Moses was 80 YEARS OLD when God sent him to Pharaoh—ancient by any standard, and he'd spent 40 years in the wilderness as a fugitive shepherd. God did the ten plagues, parted the Red Sea, brought water from rocks, and delivered millions through an octogenarian who couldn't even speak well.
I REFUSE the lie that my fatigue disqualifies me from God's purposes. IT IS WRITTEN that His strength is made PERFECT in my weakness—not in my energy level. I am a branch abiding in the Vine; He produces fruit THROUGH me, not FROM me. My job is connection, not production—and I'm connected. IT IS WRITTEN that He works in me both to WILL and to DO for His good pleasure—He's doing the heavy lifting. The Abrahamic blessing means I'm blessed in my going, and anointing isn't age-restricted. God isn't looking for my strength; He's showcasing HIS through my availability.
The Father isn't measuring your energy output deciding if you're useful—He's delighted in your yes and already equipping you with supernatural grace for whatever He's calling you toward. While you were still feeling empty, He was filling you, running toward you with the robe of anointing that has nothing to do with your age or strength.
