"I'm too broken to be useful. My mess disqualifies me from meaningful contribution."
How it sounds in your head: Look at your history—the mistakes, the trauma, the unhealed wounds. How could God use someone this damaged? Other people have it together. You're still in process, still struggling, still a mess. Maybe someday when you're fixed, but not now. Not like this.
"Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

You see polished testimonies of people who overcame and now minister from victory. You're still IN the battle, still triggered, still healing. You compare your behind-the-scenes mess to everyone else's highlight reel and conclude you're benched until further notice.
She had five failed marriages and was living with a man—broken, ashamed, avoided people by coming to the well alone at noon. One encounter with Jesus and she IMMEDIATELY ran to town and brought the WHOLE CITY to Him. She didn't wait to get her life together—her broken-but-encountered testimony brought INSTANT revival. Many believed because of HER WORDS.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm too broken to be useful. IT IS WRITTEN that God comforts me in ALL tribulation so I can comfort others—my current mess is my CURRENT ministry. I don't need to be fixed to be USED. IT IS WRITTEN there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus—I am righteous NOW, not when I heal. The blessing of Abraham flows through me TODAY. I am blessed in the process, in the struggle, in the mess. My brokenness doesn't disqualify me; it positions me to carry His glory in EARTHEN VESSELS.
The Father isn't waiting for you to get it together—He's already running toward you with the robe and ring WHILE you still smell like the pig pen. He's using your current story, not your future polished version, because broken crayons still COLOR.
