"I'm running out of time to see my children return to God before I die."
How it sounds in your head: I've prayed for decades and nothing has changed. What if I die before they come back? What if my last memory is them rejecting everything I believed? I don't have years left to wait.
"But thus says the LORD: Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible be delivered; for I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children."
-- Isaiah 49:25Enemy: Plants urgency and desperation to make you doubt God's faithfulness and timing.
Your body is failing and doctors speak in months, not years. Every visit might be the last, and they're still far from God.
Abraham waited 25 YEARS for Isaac, then died before seeing Jacob or Esau born—yet God's covenant continued through generations he never met. The promise outlived the promiser because it was GOD'S promise, not man's.
I REFUSE the lie that my death ends God's faithfulness to my children. IT IS WRITTEN that God will contend with their captors and SAVE MY CHILDREN—not maybe, not if I live long enough, but WILL. My prayers don't expire when I do. The BARAK blessing over Abraham's seed extended to generations he never saw, and I am Abraham's seed through Christ. IT IS WRITTEN there is no condemnation in Christ—not for me, not for my parenting, not for my children's current state. I declare God is RUNNING toward my prodigals even now, robe and ring in hand, while I still breathe and long after.
The Father is already running toward your children, has been running since before you started praying. Your death doesn't stop His pursuit—the same God who brought the prodigal home is already preparing the party for yours.
