"I'm running out of time to make up for wasted years."
How it sounds in your head: The clock is running out. Ninety-plus years old and counting. Whatever years you wasted can't be compensated for in the time remaining. The math doesn't work. You'll die with the deficit.
"With the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."
-- 2 Peter 3:8World's time-bound redemption - makes restoration dependent on chronological time available.
Lifespan is objectively limited. At ninety-plus, time remaining is measurably short. You can calculate that there's not enough runway left to build what you didn't build before.
Thief confessed around noon, died around 3pm - approximately THREE HOURS of 'Christian life' total. Jesus declared complete redemption and Paradise guaranteed. No probation, no process, no time required - instant full salvation.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm running out of time. IT IS WRITTEN that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years. God redeems in moments, not lifetimes. The thief got Paradise in three hours. IT IS WRITTEN in Luke 19:9 that salvation came to Zacchaeus' house TODAY - not after process, TODAY. I am not bound by chronological time. The BARAK blessing doesn't accumulate over time - it IS. I am blessed NOW. I am the head NOW. I am above only NOW. Time is not my limitation because I am IN CHRIST where there is no time constraint.
The Father isn't watching your remaining days with concern about what won't get done - He's speaking 'finished' over your life. You're not racing a clock; you're resting in complete redemption.
