"I'm just waiting to die now—there's nothing left for me here."
How it sounds in your head: Everyone you loved is mostly gone. Your spouse, your friends, your siblings. You feel like you're the last one standing, and you're just killing time until you can join them. Life feels like a long, lonely hallway with no purpose at the end of it.

Simeon was elderly, waiting for death, until the Holy Spirit revealed he wouldn't die until he saw the Messiah. God kept him alive for ONE SPECIFIC MOMENT—to hold Jesus and prophesy—and Simeon called it the PURPOSE of his entire life.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm just waiting to die with no purpose. IT IS WRITTEN that I shall not die but LIVE and declare the works of the Lord—every day I breathe is a day of PURPOSE. God hasn't forgotten me; He's ASSIGNED me. My prayers shake Heaven. My presence carries the glory of decades of faithfulness. My life is a TESTIMONY. IT IS WRITTEN in Philippians 1:21 that to live is Christ—not to wait, not to endure, but to LIVE fully in Him right now. I declare that my latter days are filled with purpose, presence, and POWER. I am not leftover; I am ESSENTIAL to God's plans today.
The Father isn't keeping you here as an afterthought—He's strategically POSITIONED you for such a time as this. Like Esther, your presence in this moment is NO ACCIDENT. He has assignments only YOU can fulfill.
