"I'm just waiting to be rescued from this evil world"
How it sounds in your head: Everything feels dark and evil. The news is terrifying, culture is getting worse, and it feels like I'm just trapped here until Jesus rescues me. I don't belong here and I can't wait to leave.
"I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one."

She feels overwhelmed by darkness around her and has been taught that separation from the world means disengagement. Waiting for rescue feels safer than engaging in battle.
Esther was an orphan who became queen in a pagan empire during a genocide plot. She wasn't there to be rescued—she WAS the rescue. Mordecai told her, 'Who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as THIS?' One woman, one moment, one bold move—a nation saved.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm just waiting to be rescued from this evil world. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus prayed I would NOT be taken out but KEPT from the evil one—I'm here on PURPOSE. I am the LIGHT of the world, a city on a hill that CANNOT be hidden. IT IS WRITTEN that I have come to the Kingdom for such a time as THIS. I am not a hostage—I am a HISTORY-MAKER. I don't retreat from darkness—I ILLUMINATE it. The BARAK blessing makes me the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, even in a hostile culture.
Your Father didn't place you in this generation to count the days till escape—He placed you here because THIS darkness needs YOUR light. You're not Plan B stuck on a sinking ship; you're Plan A deployed as the rescue team with heaven's full resources backing you.
