"I'm becoming a shell of who I was, losing my mind and dignity with nothing ahead but decline."

I REFUSE the lie that my value is stored in my memory banks. IT IS WRITTEN that God completes the work He started in me, whether I remember it or not. My identity is hidden in Christ, not in my cognitive function. Even if my mind fails, His mind toward me never wavers—I am still the beloved, still the righteousness of God in Christ. IT IS WRITTEN there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus—not even for forgetting. The BARAK blessing doesn't require mental acuity. God restored Nebuchadnezzar's mind instantly after seven years; He can sustain or restore mine.
